Fortunately, many fertility specialists and doctors have found that polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS for short, responds well to natural approaches to treatment and certain lifestyle remedies. Each woman's case is different, however, and all women should always discuss their condition with a trained professional before implementing any treatment, dietary or exercise program, or undergoing any procedure.
Causes of PCOS The cause of polycystic ovary syndrome is not fully understood, although many believe that genetics plays a role. Those suffering from PCOS are more likely to have a close relative such as a mother or sister who has PCOS as well. The condition may occur in girls as young as 11 years old, and about 5 million women in the United States are thought to have PCOS.
PCOS is the most common cause of infertility in women. Irregular or absent periods are the most common symptom of this condition, and with the absence of a menstrual period, infertility is also present. Other symptoms may include increased hair growth on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs or toes, cysts on the ovaries, acne, weight gain, thinning hair, discolored patches of skin, skin tags, pelvic pain, anxiety and depression, as well as sleep apnea. Women with any of these symptoms should see a doctor to determine if they are suffering from PCOS or any other condition.
Treatment for PCOS Natural approaches to treating polycystic ovarian syndrome include regular exercise and eating healthy. A nutritional counselor or educated physician may provide more specific information regarding appropriate diet and exercise programs. Patients should discuss their options with a medical professional before adopting any program.
Some physicians encourage patients with PCOS to limit or eliminate processed foods or those with added sugar while adding more fruits, vegetables, lean meats and whole-grains to their diet. Patients should strive to keep their body weight at a healthy level, as many women with polycystic ovarian syndrome are overweight or obese. This may lead to further health problems, so maintaining a healthy weight is often stressed in treatment for this condition.
Some doctors or clinics may recommend a nutritional supplement program in addition to nutritional or exercise programs in aiming for a healthy lifestyle. The best resource for further information about PCOS and natural approaches to treatment is a trained fertility specialist who offers nutritional counseling and is experienced in helping women live healthy lives through other natural lifestyle changes.

You're certainly not alone if you're dealing with the daily bleeding, pain, bloating and hormone imbalances that can occur when you have PCOS. This uncomfortable condition is caused by having more than one cyst in your ovaries. If you suffer from PCOS, you'll probably want to know a few more facts about it.

PCOS can occur when one of your eggs has difficulty being released during ovulation. In fact, the failure of your ovaries to release their eggs when they should is one of the primary causes of ovarian cysts. It's also possible to develop cysts in your ovaries when the sac that holds an egg fails to disintegrate after releasing it.

Unfortunately, PCOS is a common condition, affecting about 10% of all women. It can occur in women of any age, including those just beginning to menstruate all the way through menopausal women. PCOS can cause infertility, and some doctors say if it remains untreated it can cause cancer.

About 90% of women with PCOS struggle with the issue of how to treat the condition. A doctor can help you manage your cyst problems, but will be unable to cure you unless you have a risky operation or other procedure. The help doctors offer include prescription pain relievers and birth control pills, but both have side effects.

If you want to completely eliminate your PCOS, you can choose from three different all-natural homeopathic solutions. These programs will not only provide the answers to your uncomfortable bloating, pain and bleeding; they will also show you how you can be cured quickly.

These three different all-natural homeopathic programs will eliminate your PCOS. They start by providing instant relief which over time becomes a total healing. Even your doctor will be amazed by the results achieved by these programs. If you follow the system faithfully, each one of these three-step natural programs provides proven results.

Each one of the three programs is affordable, easy to follow and risk-free. You won't need any prescription medication and you won't need to spend money on something you don't really want or need. All the natural ingredients used in these three-step programs are already in your home or can be purchased in your local store. That's how natural and simple these three natural homeopathic programs really are.

Each of the three programs is listed under homeopathic, holistic and home remedies. In the past, women depended on remedies passed down through the generations to cure their health conditions.

When you follow one of these all-natural programs, you'll be eliminating the PCOS from your body, but you'll also be increasing your fertility and providing your body with the opportunity to realign your menstrual cycles so they're more regular and predictable than they probably were in the past. Chemicals will be cleansed from your body and your hormones will be put into better balance.

Your body will be out of control as long as your hormones are out of balance. You might start crying despite having no cause to be upset. Or you might become extremely moody and not know why, or even realize your moodiness, until your hormones start to come into better balance. Unwanted hair might appear in places that can be embarrassing, including on your face. Despite tweezing, bleaching, waxing or shaving this unwanted facial hair, it will reappear the following day and sometimes within hours. This unwanted hair isn't normal. It is caused by your hormones being out of balance. After you complete one of the all-natural three-step cleansing programs to eliminate your PCOS, you'll find that in addition to your PCOS being healed, this unwanted hair will be gone.

This all-natural process is certainly worth trying. You won't be adding any chemicals into your body that won't cure your PCOS anyway. You won't have to visit your doctor every month to have your PCOS evaluated, and you won't need to get more painkillers that, if they work at all, only reduce the pain you suffer. Unless you want to, you won't have to take birth control pills anymore. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to begin or add to your family.

Even if you've discussed your PCOS with your doctor or read about it on your own, you probably don't realize that 25 household products can lead to a woman's hormone problems. Each one of these 25 products can cause your system to become imbalanced. Changes occur in your body each time you use one.

Each one of these three-step homeopathic programs offers the best in all-natural systems. They can allow your body to begin healing shortly after you begin the process, within minutes to twelve hours.

It's not natural for your body to be bloated more often than not. It's not natural for you to be bleeding at times other than your normal menstrual period. Every day you follow one of these three-step systems, you'll be amazed at the results. Remember, however, that you want to completely finish the three-step system you choose. You want to totally eliminate your PCOS, not just make it better for a few days. Completing even the longest of these three all-natural homeopathic systems will only require seven to eight weeks. Be faithful to your body and the program you choose by completing the program instead of stopping after a few days because you feel better. After the years of suffering you've experienced with your PCOS, the seven or eight weeks the program requires will seem like nothing.

Each one of these three-step programs is offered as a book that can be automatically downloaded directly onto your computer. Once you make your purchase, you'll be able to read your book immediately and then begin following its natural, three-step process as soon as possible. You will also be able to take advantage of instant help provided by the author of the book you purchased. This professional will be able to answer any questions, and she'll guide you through any issues that might come up. You won't need to wait for the book to be delivered, and you won't need to pay any shipping or handling fees. The authors of these books have so much faith in their all-natural, three-step systems that they provide a money-back guarantee.

overcome PCOS and insulin resistance?

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women who are of childbearing age. The cause of PCOS is not really known, but has come to be the most common cause for female infertility and has been known to occur in girls as young as 11 years old. PCOS is a woman's health problem that can affect:

o Ability to bear children
o Menstrual cycle
o Hormones
o Heart
o Blood vessels

And typically women with PCOS may experience the following symptoms:

o High Cholesterol
o High Blood pressure
o Pelvic Pain
o Sleep Apnea
o High levels of androgens
o Acne
o Missed and/or irregular periods
o Small cysts in the ovaries

As I mentioned above the cause of PCOS is not really known but it is believed that a number of factors play a major role in the development of this syndrome. One thought is that it may be genetic because more often than not a woman who experiences PCOS also has another close female relative like a mother or a sister who suffers with PCOS. Another possible factor is insulin. Too much insulin causes the body to increase its production of androgen. When there is an excessive amount of androgen levels it can lead to acne, weight gain and problems with ovulation.

What are the treatments for women who suffer with PCOS? One of the most common is birth control pills because is helps to control your menstrual cycle and reduces androgen levels. However, this treatment is not best one if you are wanting to get pregnant. Hence, there are the fertility treatments for those wanting to get pregnant because this treatment will stimulate ovulation.

Another option is surgery. For this procedure a laparoscopy is done, which is when a small incision is made near the navel area and inserts a telescope type tool. Then, a small puncture is made on the ovary with a needle which emits an electrical current which destroys a portion of the ovary. This procedure thus lowers the androgen levels and helps with ovulation.

The final option that will be discussed here is the natural treatment. This is by far the best and most holistic. Here are some suggestions:

1. Eating healthy - fruits, vegetables, lean meats and whole-grain foods
2. Maintain a healthy weight - as little as a 10 percent weight loss can help restore your cycle
3. Exercise - as little as 30 minutes a day will help improve your lifestyle

There are now some amazing natural ovarian cyst and PCOS treatments available today that will give you an alternative to conventional medicine and help you avoid painful surgery.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and the PCOS Diet Book

overcome PCOS and insulin resistance?

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or PCOS is a disorder that affects between 3-5% of women and is one of the most common hormonal disorders among women of reproductive age. It is also the leading cause of infertility. The main symptoms are obesity, acne, insulin resistance, diabetes and irregular menstruation. Other symptoms are hair loss, increased body hair and depression. It is said that one in two women with PCOS are obese which enhances a number of the related symptoms.

PCOS is linked with being overweight or obese and successful weight loss is the most effective method to restore normal menstruation. Although this is the best way to improve the symptoms, women find it very hard to sustain or even achieve significant weight loss. Some experts recommend a low Glycemic Index Diet which involves the eating of fruit, vegetables and whole grain products to make up most of the carbohydrates the body needs.

The word is that the Strip That Fat diet is an excellent diet that sustains weight loss, but the PCOS Diet Book is specifically written for this condition. The PCOS Diet Book is not specifically designed for weight loss but more to maintain blood sugar levels. The book is based around a low Glycemic index diet which was developed by David J Jenkins who is a professor of nutrition at the University of Toronto.

The PCOS Diet Book also includes other information such as advice on supplements, natural medicines for specific PCOS symptoms and super-foods. There is also a part of the book for women that have PCOS and other related health problems such as type II diabetes, digestive disorders and thyroid problems.

The PCOS diet book should not be taken as a weight loss program, but as a guide to eating healthily. If you want to lose weight which would help with the affects of PCOS then it is recommended that you try the Strip That Fat program which leads the way in sustaining weight loss. A lot of myths are exposed by the developers of this book and it is explained in detail how some diets do not work and are plain bad for you, such as eating low carbohydrates or Atkins style diets, low fat diets, starvation diets, Hollywood diets and pre-packaged diet programs. Experts believe that 80% of dieting is the food you eat and 20% is exercise and most people already do enough exercise. This equates to people eating the wrong foods or eating in the wrong way, which means that anyone overweight is doing one or both of these.

By combining the knowledge from both the PCOS diet book and the Strip That Fat diet book you should have the formula needed to tackle the symptoms of PCOS and live a more normal life.

An interesting fact that a lot of people don't know, and you might be interested in this, is that there are three things that people who have lost weight and kept it of have in common. Now these three things are really simple and don't have anything to do with counting calories, silly diet pills, weightwatchers or having a workout partner. Curious, then visit Top Three Weight Loss Tips.
